
AUXILIARY POLICE

The Township of Union Police Department is now taking applications for Auxiliary Police Officers! The Township of Union Auxiliary Police is a strict volunteer organization. Its members supplement Regular Officers in emergencies and participate in various police and civic-related activities.

Duties of an Auxiliary Police Officer
Auxiliary police officers are called upon to supplement police work as needed. They take part in police work that preserves peace and order, prevents crime, and protects life and property, as instructed by our department. Auxiliary police officers may assist in crowd and traffic control, perform uniformed foot patrols in a neighborhood or provide security at local concerts, festivals, and parades.
Requirements

Must reside in the Township of Union

Be at least 18 years of age

Posses a minimum of a high school diploma or GED

Have a clean background

Pass a drug test
-
Be either a permanent resident or a U.S. Citizen
